Clifftops Projects is an organisation started by Lottie Barker, who is currently the Artistic Director, in April of 2020, as a way to make sure everyone in West Dunbartonshire has fair access to all different types of art.

The organisation aims to be an open and accepting place for all kinds of people from the age of 11 all the way up to the age of 25, meaning that any young person wanting to try out a new kind of art style, meet new people, or just have a fun time are able to do so for free.

When asked, Lottie Barker has made a statement about Clifftops and why it is important to her.

"I started Clifftop Projects in 2020 during lockdown as I wanted to connect more with my local community and bring people together through creativity.

Now five years later I absolutely love the variety of activities I'm involved in through my work - one day I'm filming a dance film with community members, the next I'm ordering materials for our next Youth Creative Night and the following I'm in a nursery researching a show for Early Years!

Our Youth Creative Nights are a great way for young people in S1-25 to have fun and try new creative activities so it's really open to ANYONE to come along - we are a friendly bunch, so would recommend anyone who wants to come along to reach out.”

As you can see, Clifftops Projects is a wonderful place to go if you’re seeking excitement, fun, and generally just a good time, it is highly reccommended by the people who go, and is run by people who will accept you into the community with open arms.
