Tullochan is a dedicated charity organisation based in West Dunbartonshire that emphasises youth development, supporting children and teenagers from their early primary school years all the way through to high school.

With a focus on development and growth, Tullochan provides a variety of programs and resources that foster personal, social, and educational development, empowering young individuals to reach their full potential and become active, positive contributors to their communities.

They also organize supportive groups specifically for young individuals within the LGBTQ+ community.

When the said group was asked about their experiences and why they enjoy the group so much, the attendees enthusiastically recommended the group as a safe and welcoming space for self-expression, connection, and making friends.

“It’s a really welcoming and accepting community, and it’s a great way to spend an evening” - Jack Gilhespy, 17

“I’d recommend the group as it’s a place where I feel as if I can be myself and not be judged” - Lyra Wajdzik, 18

“It’s a place where you can meet a ton of different people and there’s never any judgement, I feel safe and supported by the people that work there and the people that go to their groups, and I can hang out with my friends.

Some of the closest friends I have now I’ve met through Tullochan and I get to see them every week at clubs, which is great” - Hayden Hunter, 17

Safe to say, Tullochan is one of the best organisations for your young people to access support, and a space for them to be safe and happy.
