PICTURES show the devastating aftermath of a fire that broke out at a takeaway in Knightswood.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Freddie's Food Club on Great Western Road shortly after 8.30am on Thursday (February 2) following reports of a building being on fire.
Firefighters remained at the scene for more than eight hours as they worked to bring the flames under control.
A police cordon was in place on Great Western Road for nearly 10 hours with officers called in to assist with traffic.
There were no reported injuries.

Images show the charred remains of the building.
The unit's roof was completely destroyed in the blaze and there appears to be damage to the neighboring Keystore's roof.
Chris Cunningham, SNP councillor for Garscadden/Scotstounhill, said the fire, and the resulting damage, raised questions over the reopening of adjoining stores, including a branch of Ladbrokes and the Lincoln Inn pub as well as the Keystore next door.
Cllr Cunningham said: "The fire at Freddie's Food Club on Great Western Road has clearly impacted on the shop units on either side, particularly at roof level.
"There are bound to be questions about when or if they can reopen in the near future."

Police are still in attendance at the site as an investigation into the circumstances of the fire continues.
The building is under a police cordon with barriers in place outside.
The footpath is littered with debris and ash and there is a strong smell of smoke coming from the building.
Officers in forensic suits have been spotted taking photographs of the scene.
As cops continue to probe the area, a drone is being flown above the building.
In a social media post a spokesperson for the Lincoln Inn said the premises would need to be "gutted" before it was able to reopen.
They said: "The problem we have is the smell of smoke and the damage the fumes have done to our seating and carpets.
"We need to gut the place before we allow customers back in."
In August the Post reported that fire crews were called to Freddie's Food Club after a blaze broke out at the premises.
Firefighters attended the fast food spot on August 3, extinguishing the flames.
No one was hurt during the incident.
