A SIX figure contract for work to Clydebank Library has been awarded by the council.
A notice on the Contracts Scotland website, which publishes tenders by local authorities, shows Glasgow-based Redpath Construction has been chosen to complete the second phase of the work.
The plans, valued at £273,960, will see existing finishes stripped out, new partitions on the first floor along with a new toilet, new fittings to the entrance foyer and new electrical works.

It is not known when the work will begin.
