The distraught family of a missing Glasgow man have issued a desperate plea to help find him.

Stephen McPhail, who is known as Stef, was last seen around 8.20am on Saturday in Drumry Road East, Drumchapel.

The 43-year-old's family say the disappearance is 'completely out of character', and are becoming increasingly concerned for his safety.

He is described as 6ft 2, stocky build, bald with brown eyes and when last seen he was wearing a grey ‘Adidas’ zipper jacket with hood, black cargo trousers and training shoes.

Inspector Paul Daley at Partick Police Station said: “Stephen’s family say that it is completely out of character for Stephen to disappear like this and they are becoming increasingly concerned as time passes. They urge him to get in contact to let them know that he is safe.

“Local officers are making enquiries in the area in an attempt to find out where Stephen has gone since yesterday morning and I ask anyone who has seen him since 8.20 am on Saturday 15 June or anyone who knows of his present whereabouts to contact police at Drumchapel immediately via 101 quoting incident number 5396 of 15 June 2019.”
