Club president Jill O’Neil received the award for club of the year in performance. Tony Hall won volunteer of the year. Robert Cuthbertson picked up coach of the year. Marco Consani won outstanding senior performance at international level. Nicola Hendrie won outstanding senior performance.

Sixty Garscube Harriers, senior and junior runners competed in the Dunbartonshire AAA Cross Country Championships held at Balloch Castle Country Park on Saturday, November 15, bringing home five gold and seven silver individual and team medals.

The under-11 boys race over a distance of one mile, was won by Finlay Ross-Davie in a time of (07.50), second place went to Domonic Morgan in a time of (07.52), sixth Fergus Currie (08.49), seventh Marcus Donnelly (09.05), 15th Cameron McLean (09.50), 17th Mathew Hinks (10.35), 20th Casey Archer (10.58). Finlay,Domonic and Fergus secured the gold team medal with a total of nine.

The under-11 girls race over the same distance was won by Anya Maclean in a time of (08.04), fifth Lucy Sillars (09.06), 14th Beth Trainer (10.12), 18th Marinah Murray (10.37), Chiara Donnelly (09.42), Amanda Taylor (10.39).

Anya, Lucy and Beth secured the silver team medal with a total of 20.

The under-13 boys race over a distance of two miles was won by Elliot Duff in a time of (11.29), second place went to Jack Trainer in a time of (11.43), fourth James Cathro (12.34), sixth Euan Chapman (13.03), eighth Stuart Reid (13.33), 23rd Adam O’Dell (16.57), 24th Rory McMillan (17.37). Elliot,Jack and James secured the gold team medal with a total of seven.

The under-13 girls race over the same distance eighth Ellie Hines (14.33), 16th Rachel Chalmers (15.16), 19th Rubie Imrie (15.56), 23rd Orla Vennard (17.03).

The under-15 boys race over a distance of three miles was won by Cody Stevenson in a time of (18.3.27), fourth Arun Smith (18.53), eighth Jack Cuthbertson (19.36), 10th Ross Chapman (19.59), 11th Jamie Bennet (20.57), 12th Huw Morgan (21.01), 13th Craig Weston (21.27), 18th Callum Silcock (23.55). Cody,Arun and Jack secured the silver team medal with a total of 13.

The under-15 girls over the same distance fourth Sophie Lathan (24.18), fifth Emily Sillars (26.01).

The under-17 girls race also over the same distance Emma Wilson finished in second place in a time of (22.06), sixth Eilidh Chapman (23.47), seventh Iona Fraser (23.59). Emma,Eilidh and Iona secured the silver team medal with a total of 15.

Senior Womans race over a distance of four miles ninth Marion Kelly (27.22), 15th Kathryn Scott (27.44), 18th Ann White (28.37), 35th Caroline Dow (35.50).
