Saturday’s result and performance WE got off to a terrible start conceding two goals in six minutes caused by real school boy defending and some individual errors.

That gave them tremendous hope and probably knocked our confidence, which due to the run we’ve been on was already fragile.

Take absolutely nothing away from Craigmark, as a club we know what it is like to win against a bigger team in the cup but in all honestly for a club like Clydebank the result was quite embarrassing.

In our time in the juniors it is one of our worst results, if not the worst.

Message to the fans I would like to apologise to the fans. I know that at the moment they maybe don’t want to hear an apology, they want to see an improvement in results and we’re striving to get there.

Future as manager I have a good relationship with the club and if the type of situation was needed, where a change would be best for the club I’m sure we would work that out amicably.

Myself and those at the club have Clydebank’s interests at heart but we are not thinking along those lines we are thinking of how to change things round.

Players taking responsibilty THE goals we are losing we shouldn’t be losing and we aren’t scoring enough either.

We are not in a situation where we can go out and fix it financially.

I am up for the challenge and I suppose we will find out in the next few weeks if the players are too, maybe we already know with some of them because the club can only do so much, I think we give them a great platform to play.

Tribute to David McAllister I was extremely saddened to learn this week of David’s passing. I knew him well through his work with Yoker and as the West Region Treasurer, my condolences go out to his friends and family at this sad time
