POLICE Scotland is looking to trace a man who may be able to assist them with an investigation following a serious assault.

The incident took place on Thursday, July 30 on Kilbowie Road, Clydebank at around 11am — a 37-year-old man was hospitalised.

The man is described as being approximately 6ft tall, of a medium build and at the time of the incident, was wearing a grey hooded top.

Police officers are also keen to speak to another man shown in the images who they believe may have witnessed the incident.

This second man is described as approximately 5ft 8ins tall with short strawberry blonde hair, of stocky build and he was wearing a red/orange t-shirt and similar coloured shorts.

DC David McKee, of Police Scotland, based at Clydebank Police Office, who is dealing with this enquiry, said: "I would appeal to anyone who recognises the men in the images to contact Police Scotland via the 101 number or alternatively to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed anonymously ."
