TWO people received medical treatment after a car crashed in Hardgate on Monday night, August 31.
Firefighters received a call shortly before 10.40pm following reports a vehicle had gone into railings at Glasgow Road, near the Goldenhill pub. They provided first aid to a man and a woman and helped the woman from the passenger seat. A steel girder had entered the car and was positioned slightly behind the driver’s seat, so it was decided to keep the man in place until paramedics arrived.
Both casualties, described as elderly, were taken to hospital for precautionary check-ups.
