POLICE are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted in Clydebank.
The 27-year-old was was walking along Queen Mary Avenue, Drumry, when he was attacked by three other men at around 4.55am on Sunday, August 30.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where he was released after treatment.
The three men are described as white, in their early 20s, of average height and wearing light coloured hooded tops.
Detective Sergeant Stuart Gillies, of Police Scotland, said: “This was a random and unprovoked attack which left the victim with serious injuries.
"Officers are conducting enquiries in the area including examining CCTV and speaking to local residents.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious to contact police via the 101 number.
“Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where all calls will be kept anonymous.”
