Police attending a meeting of Parkhall, North Kilbowie and Clydebank Central Community Council last Tuesday night made the plea for information.
It follows complaints of youths consuming alcohol in various locations resulting in vandalism and anti-social behaviour.
Community councillor Neil Etherington said: “There is a problem with young teens getting in behind the methodist church on Second Avenue. They gather out of sight from the road, near the railway away from the public’s view.” Police are eager to crack down on the secret drinking dens across the whole town. The police station on Montrose Street is open 24 hours a day and can be called on 0141 532 3300.
