The Forestry Commission Scotland is drafting a 10-year design plan, which will be put on display to the public from tomorrow (Thursday).

The document sets out the vision of the forest in the future, and commission is urging residents to come along and see the proposed redevelopments.

The plans will be on show at Drumchapel Community Centre from 3pm to 8pm tomorrow, and at the Phoenix Centre from 2pm to 7pm on Friday.

The Drumchapel woodlands include Cleddans Burn and Garscadden Woods, along with a network of footpaths.

Staff will be on hand to help answer questions and gather comments from the local community and site users.

BANKIES have only until the end of November to take part in Will Aid, a scheme which helps will makers donate money to charity.

Solicitors are taking part in the project, which sees them waive their normal fee for making a will, with a donation instead going to good causes.
