The Scottish Police Authority (SPA) hosted its latest oversight meeting on policing matters at the town hall last Wednesday.
The SPA is the body responsible for driving improvement in Scottish policing and holding the chief constable of Police Scotland to account.
Chief constable Stephen House was questioned on a range of current policing issues.
The authority also considered reports on the operational performance of the single force as well as financial matters.
