FOUR drivers have been fined after they were allegedly caught speeding on a busy road in Clydebank.
Officers from Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit stopped each of the motorists on the A82 on Thursday morning.
The first person was reportedly observed travelling at 71 miles per hour (mph), the second at 66mph, the third at 74mph, and the fourth at 70mph.
This section of the road has a 50mph speed limit.
Police said each driver was given three penalty points and a £100 fine.
Later the same day a lorry driver was reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with alleged Tachograph offences.
According to the UK Government’s website, a Tachograph records information about driving time, speed, and distance.
