A ‘substantial’ haul of vapes has been seized after a police raid on a Clydebank shopkeeper who was allegedly selling them to children.

The retail outlet, which police have not named, was charged after a joint operation between Trading Standards and Police Scotland.

Cops retained a large quantity of the disposable electronic cigarettes and warned any other stores indulging in this practice they will be caught with further joint seizures planned to tackle the issue.

"Officers have seized a substantial quantity of vapes because of the operation.
