Two men have been attacked in the same area in broad daylight.
The victims, aged 28 and 38, were set upon at the fields near Waulking Mill Road in Clydebank on Saturday afternoon.
They were assaulted at around 1.55pm and both were rushed to hospital to be treated for their injuries.
Cops are investigating the attacks and are urging any witnesses from the area to come forward.
Detective Constable Nicolle Young said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
“We are appealing to anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch.”
