BANKIES have been left bewildered after spotting something unusual wandering the streets of the town centre.
A pheasant was seen running around near the former site of the Playdrome on Abbotsford Road earlier today.
The bird was spotted by Scott Brown who was travelling through the area.
A post on social media reads: "Think someone's a bit lost. There's a pheasant stoating about the old Playdrome."
Local residents reacted in the comments with one person writing: "Quick, call the pheasant plucker!"
