PUPILS at Our Holy Redeemer’s Primary School were bouncing about on Monday as they visited Clydebank Leisure Centre’s interactive room.

The school’s primary seven class was shown around the facility for three hours, taking part in a number of fun games in both the sports hall and interactive room.

Rosalind Ayre, the children’s teacher, described the day out as “fantastic” and a great opportunity for the young people to immerse themselves in a range of interactive games.

She told the Post: “The children really enjoyed it. The interactive room was great and they really had a great time.”

The pupils had the choice of three bouncy castles to jump around on in the sports hall before taking on a bit of soft play.

There were a number of other fun activities planned for the class, such as climbing walls, dance mats, trampolining, projector screen games and using the interactive wall itself.

Ms Ayre added: “They did coordination games and different games that tested their speed.

“It was a chance to see the new facility and let the children see what the new facility is all about.

“They all really enjoyed it and are keen to go back. It was good for them to get active.”

The interactive room is located on the first floor of the centre and is full of engaging games for all ages, ranging from skating and jumping activities to parkour and football mats.
