POLICE are on the hunt for a bogus workman who took more than £700 to carry out work and then never turned up.
The man approached the victim in the car park of B&Q within the Great Western Retail Park around 4pm on October 4.
He claimed to operate his own bathroom repair company and offered to carry out work the for victim, but demanded he was paid upfront.
The victim handed over £760 but the man never turned up to start the work.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or alternatively Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
