POLICE are investigating an assault on a Clydebank property that ripped off an electrical box - all to steal just three plants.
Between 3pm and 6pm on July 31, the box was pulled down in order to gain entry to the common close in Alexander Street by disabling the door security.
But the only items reported stolen were three plants from the common area. The type of plant was not disclosed by officers.
Police asked for any witnesses to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers.
