CLYDEBANK dancers are top in Scotland from their recent competitions - and now they want to show off to the public.

April's Street Feet attended the UDO Scottish Championships at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall at the weekend and won a host of trophies.

Against many other teams, they pulled off top slots in major categories. The Prestige group (under 16s) were first in Scotland, as were the QT Crew (under 8s) while Pink Poison (under 14s) came fourth. All three will go on to the Six Nations, the Europeans and World championships in the coming months, along with numerous individuals.

The under 14s in particular were against 19 older squads and still came fourth.

Earlier this year dancers from the school, who rehearse at the shopping centre, were seen on Britain's Got Talent getting raved reviews from judges and audiences.

Instructor April Stuart-Mcrae, from Old Kilpatrick, has now penned a show being performed this week at Partick Burgh Hall to show off the winning moves.

It's a story set in a salon with five hairdressers, with a great deal of comedy to capture the imagination of audiences of any ages.

Tickets are available at the door and both shows start at 7pm on Thursday and Friday.
