AWARD-winning Clydebank campaigner Kayla McCulloch is backing a Big Bears picnic and fun day in aid of Children’s Liver Disease Foundation.

The Clydebank youngster, who has a number of debilitating liver conditions, hopes the event will help her as she tries to raise £10,000 for the charity.

She is already £2,000 thanks to her efforts and was recognised earlier this year at the Provost’s Awards for her work.

Tickets for the event cost £4 per child (and bear) and it includes a hot lunch from McMonagles and Domino’s Pizza, magic show, access to the day of fun and more. Raffle tickets at £1 per strip are also on sale.

The event runs from 1pm to 4pm at The Hub on July 8 and all proceeds go to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation. Contact the event page at www.facebook.com/events/1895078457409845/ for tickets.
