POLICE are searching for two men in connection with an assault and robbery at a Drumchapel supermarket.

Detectives released images of the men who they say "may be able to assist" with enquiries into the incident in Allerdyce Road on April 11.

A female shop worker was assaulted at about 8pm and a quantity of cash teken.

Police Scotland said in a statement: "Detectives are keen to speak to both males in the images as they believe that they may have information that will assist them with their ongoing investigation."

The man in the yellow jacket is described as white, 30-40yrs, stocky build, approx. 6ft, wearing a black beanie style hat with a white rim, waist length yellow high viz jacket with silver flashes, dark trousers and shoes.

The second man pictured in the doorway is described as white, approx. 25-35yrs, stocky build with prominent belly, short brown hair, wearing a white long sleeve jumper, grey Armani tracksuit joggers, and grey Nike trainers.
