RAIN didn’t stop play when the Easter bunny hopped into the Linwood Community Childcare centre.
The floppy-eared guest knew ‘eggs-actly’ what to do when April showers threatened a planned treasure hunt in the nursery gardens.
He simply hid dozens of chocolate eggs around the centre, much to the delight of the children.
And the Easter fun continued as kids took part in a singalong and staged a fashion show for their proud parents.
They made colourful Easter bonnets before hitting the catwalk to show off their impressive handiwork.
Julie Hughes, manager at the childcare centre, in Abernethy Drive, said: “Several of the staff reported sightings of the Easter bunny hiding eggs.
“I didn’t spot him myself but I did see a white fluffy tail quickly disappearing behind a door.
“The children loved hunting for the eggs, so the rain outside didn’t spoil their fun at all.”
