THERE were delights in store when the Renfrewshire Women’s Institute hosted the Federation Show in Bridge of Weir.
More than 150 people were able to sample a range of cakes and handicrafts at the event which is held every three years by each federation.
They were joined by local Councillor Jim Paterson and MP Gavin Newlands at the Cargill Hall where the show was open all day to the public.
Irene McFarlane, chair of the Renfrewshire SWI said: “It was our turn to host the Federation Show this year and we were delighted to do so.
“It was a very busy day with people dropping in.”
