TWELVE people were arrested for alleged drug possession in a three-day operation.
Police carried out operations around the Kirkton Avenue and Lincoln Avenue high flats on Friday 25, Saturday 26, and Sunday November 27, in response to local concerns.
In one incident, police attended around 8.10pm on November 25 and detained two 19-year-old men for alleged possession of herbal cannabis. One gave a false name and address and will face an addition charge for attempting to pervert the course of justice.
