A CLYDEBANK business representative has meet with the first minister over issues such as Brexit and new Scottish business rates.
Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce president Stewart Rennie last week met with Nicola Sturgeon.
Mr Rennie was part of a Scottish Chambers delegation that took part in roundtable discussions in Glasgow.
There was also discussion about potential upgrades to the A82 as a vital tourist route.
The chamber also met with Keith Brown MSP, the Scottish minister responsible for the economy, and David Mundell MP, the Scottish Secretary.
Mr Rennie said: "Meeting the First Minister I was able to hear at first hand her views on current topics which provided a great insight into Scottish Government thinking.
"It also enabled me to put forward the views of business to government and highlights the important representing and lobbying role the Dunbartonshire Chamber plays as the voice of business in region.”
Follow-up meetings with other members of the cabinet could be arranged at a later date, Mr Rennie added.
