POLICE are investigating the vandalism of two primary schools over the weekend.
Both Corpus Christi and Blairdardie Primary School - which are just two miles apart - were subject to vandalism between being locked up on the evening of Friday, October 7 – at 5.30pm and 6pm respectively – and the janitors’ return to the schools on Monday, October 10.
Corpus Christi Primary, on Pikeman Road, had two bathroom windows smashed as well as pots, from the flower bed within the school grounds, broken.
Meanwhile Blairdardie Primary, on Kearn Avenue, was also left with one smashed window.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
