POLICE are asking the public to help locate a 14-year-old girl missing from Knightswood.
Jade Miller was last seen around 3.15pm on Wednesday, October 12 when she left school at Knightswood Secondary. When she failed to return home later that day, her family reported her missing.
Jade is white, around 5ft6in tall, with long, dyed-black hair. When last seen, she was wearing her school uniform, consisting of a long sleeved shirt, pale blue tie, short black skirt, black tights, black ‘Converse’ trainers and carrying a black schoolbag with white speckled dots.
Officers are checking CCTV footage and speaking to family and friends as part of extensive enquiries to locate Jade.
She is understood to have friends in the Cumbernauld area and often visits Glasgow city centre, said Police Scotland.
Sergeant Bob Scott said: “There has been no contact from Jade to her family and friends and we are growing increasingly concerned.
"If anyone has seen Jade or has any information or knowledge as to her whereabouts, please contact officers at Glasgow North West Police Office in Drumchapel on 101.”
