HOSPITAL bus campaigners have said there will be a huge push to make people aware of the service.
Members of Dalmuir and Mountblow Community Council founded the successful BOSS Campaign to get a bus service to and from the new hospital in Govan.
They discussed how the “hard work” is now to begin, with mass leafleting campaigns planned throughout the six-month trial.
The bus service will officially start on March 14 at 7.30am and an event is planned to launch the service later on in the day.
Aggressive advertising saying “use it or lose it” will be featured in the awareness campaign.
Recently, services in Shettleston and Maryhill to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital were axed due to lack of custom.
First Bus is looking to profit from the Clydebank venture or axe the service within six months.
