A Scottish gymnastics club has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.
West Dunbartonshire Gymnastics Club is a finalist in the Community Club of the Year (fewer than 250 members) category at the British Gymnastics Awards, sponsored by Gymnova.
The club previously won the Scottish equivalent of the award earlier this year.
The British Gymnastics Awards celebrate outstanding people and organisations who make gymnastics enjoyable, safe and accessible for all, while also making positive contributions to their communities.

A spokesperson for West Dunbartonshire Gymnastics Club said: “We are extremely happy and feel deeply privileged to be named finalists for the 2026 British Gymnastics Awards.
“Everything we do is for our community, and we are incredibly proud to see that commitment recognised at a national level.

The awards highlight clubs that not only promote and develop the sport but also make a lasting difference in their communities.

This year, the awards will also celebrate the British Gymnastics Foundation’s awards, recognising those who are transforming lives through gymnastics.
Winners in each category will be announced in early February.
The 2026 British Gymnastics Awards recognise exceptional people and organisations that help keep gymnastics enjoyable, safe and open to everyone, making a positive contribution to individuals, local communities and wider society.
