Clydebank boss Gordon Moffat hailed his side after their 1-0 win over Cumnock Juniors.
The Holm Park team remain top of the West of Scotland Football League after running out victors in a tough fixture.
Moffat's men continued their 100 per cent start to the campaign and he had nothing but praise for his players.
He said: "It was important to get the three points as it is our only league game this month.
"I thought like in the match last week that our first-half performance was excellent, particularly in the opening 30 minutes.
"We pinned Cumnock back and could have been more than one ahead.
"When you are 1-0 up then it is always a precarious situation score line but we defended well when they ramped up the pressure in the second half."
Nicky Low scored the only goal of the game with a stunning strike from distance.

And Moffat was not surprised by the quality of the finish.
He continued: "Nicky has scored some unbelievable goals already this season.
"He is brilliant technically but also brings so much from a leadership perspective.
"Nicky can pick a pass and has the vision to spot things that not a lot of players can't at this level.
"He leads by example in terms of his composure and we are really lucky to have him."
The win means Clydebank are the only team in the Scottish football pyramid to still have a 100 per cent domestic record this season after Celtic and Aberdeen drew 2-2 last weekend.
While Moffat is delighted with the run his team is on, he insists there is still plenty of work to do, starting with the Scottish Cup second-round clash away to Keith FC on Saturday.
He added: "Our form has been incredible and we will keep it going for as long as we can.
"However, it is only October so we still have a long way to go to be where we want to be this season.
"We are in a good place at the minute and hopefully that continues.
"We have been playing a lot of cup matches recently but that is due to our good form.
"Cup runs always help to instil confidence so we are looking forward to the upcoming fixture."
