Bankies fans can now get their tickets to watch their team attempt to lift their first piece of silverware in six years.

Clydebank will face off against Auchinleck Talbot in the Indigo Unified Communications West of Scotland Cup Final on Friday, April 28 as they compete in their first final since regaining senior status in 2020.

The showpiece final will be played at Meadow Park, Irvine, and followers can now purchase their entry to perhaps witness a little piece of history.

Paul Cummings from the club admitted the anticipation is building and the players are hoping for that famous Bankie backing.

Speaking to the Post, he said: “The club are delighted to be competing in our first final since regaining senior status and the chance to win a first trophy since 2017.

“It would give the players a major boost to see as many folks as possible make the short trip to support them in this big match.”

The Bankies last won a trophy in 2017 when claiming the Sectional League Cup under Kieran McAnespie.

But now Gordon Moffat and his men will be hoping to maintain their recent form against Talbot after two wins over the East Ayrshire side already this season – including a 2-1 triumph at Holm Park last weekend.

Just like home games, fans can purchase their ticket via the Fanbase app and scan the QR code at the gate, with tickets priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions and unaccompanied children.

Under 16s go free with a paying adult but unaccompanied kids need to buy a ticket.

The club have been told that, at present, there are around 1000 tickets set aside for travelling Bankies fans whilst Club sponsor Stevie Meehan from FC Roofing will also be subsidising supporters buses.
