Dynamite Gymnastic Club’s display teams enjoyed a weekend in the Toon earlier this month as they took part in the Northern Gym Stars Gymnastics summit in Newcastle.
The first time the event had taken place, Dynamite’s Rocket and Ignition display teams travelled down on June 15.
A great opportunity for the young gymnasts to perform and showcase their skills in front of a large crowd as well as getting the chance to meet gymnasts from all across the UK, the summit was held as a celebration of gymnastics.

The Dynamite youngsters got the chance to perform in a non-competitive environment and experience all the different styles and disciplines across the weekend.
Both Rocket and Ignition performed group routines with acrobatics and tumbling as well as a large group balance. The Rockets performed to Sister Act while the Ignition team got into the Christmas spirit early, performing to Elf the musical.
Next up for the Dynamite display teams is the 2019 London Festival of Gymnastics in October.
