Clydebank 2004s will look to finish their season with silverware tomorrow night as they get set to take on Cambuslang Reds 2004s in the Supplementary Cup Final at Lochinch Playing Fields in Glasgow.

The Bankies youngsters booked their spot in this year's final after overcoming West Dunbartonshire side Renton Craigandro and U15 A league side Summerston in the earlier rounds before battling back from two goals down to see off Scotstoun-based Glasgow Red Star 3-2 in tense semi-final.

Clydebank, who will move into the newly-developed Holm Park later this summer, finished fourth in the Glasgow and District Youth Football League U15s B league, equal on points with their opponents in tomorrow's final but with a better goal difference.

The sides have met twice this season with Cambuslang coming out on top back in April in a 6-2 win while they shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw earlier in the campaign.

2004s head coach Andy Findlay said: "It’s been a privilege to manage this group of boys. The parents, the other coaches, Michael, Daniel and Owen, should all be proud of what they have achieved. In my opinion, we beat the best team in the competition to get to the final and we deserve to win - the boys deserve something from the season.

"When they are on their game, I would challenge anyone to stop us. How far we have come in a short space of time is amazing, with exciting times ahead.

"All the credit goes to the boys and their parents for trusting them with me and the other coaches, it’s all about how they are developing into players because of the hard work from everyone, top to bottom. We'd like to thank Allan Crockett of Comply2 for the kit, Andy Falconer of the Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank for their sponsorship and Lawry O'Neill for his hard work behind the scenes.

"Let’s do this!"

Kick-off at Lochinch tomorrow night is at 7pm.
