Harmony Row’s second team were comfortable winners over Glasgow South Side on Wednesday, November 12 at the Emirates Arena.
The game started as a tight affair and it looked like Harmony Row might find it difficult when South Side took an 11-10 lead at the end of the first quarter.
However they came out fighting and managed to overcome a strong defence, going ahead in the second quarter 23-17. This gave Harmony Row the confidence to storm through the third quarter.
The defence were really strong in the circle and the opposition were only able to score five goals in the third quarter.
In the final quarter Harmony Row were on a roll, with great passing through the centre court and an amazing performance from the shooting circle from Amy Brunjsteins (goal attack) and Ruth Abraitis (goal shooter). An impressive final score of 56-25 to Harmony Row Two. Saltires chose Catherine Vaughan as their Harmony Row player of the match, and the team chose Angela Williams as their player of the match.
