Thriving Places Drumchapel recently held an event to show racism the red card.

Children from local primary schools got involved and wrote messages on the football top-shaped cards of love and anti-hate while people in the shopping centre did the same thing at the Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland shop. The message I put up said: “We are all different and all the same! #loveeveryone”

Drumchapel Post Office has a new postmaster and a new lease of life. All the staff working there are friendly faces from our local area so please use the facilities so we can keep our local post office open. If we don’t use it we will lose it.

Glasgow Women’s Aid will shortly be opening up in the purpose-built Women’s Aid building giving very valuable support to women and children who need it.
