An MSP has welcomed a new housing support scheme designed to help more people take their first step onto the property ladder.
The Open Market Shared Equity Scheme, introduced by the SNP Government, is aimed at priority groups who cannot afford the full cost of a home.
These groups include social renters, disabled people, those more than 60, and members of the armed forces.

Marie McNair, MSP for Clydebank and Milngavie, welcomed the scheme.
She said: "The SNP Government is delivering on affordable housing for people in the area and this scheme, along with our First Homes Fund, will provide vital support for those looking to buy their first home.
"I know just how hard it is to get that first foot on the property ladder, so these schemes are essential to assist households who can sustain mortgage repayments but find it difficult to build up the necessary savings to buy a home.
"More affordable homes will play a vital role in reducing homelessness and tackling child poverty.
"I strongly encourage anyone in Clydebank, Milngavie or Bearden North who may be eligible for these schemes and wants to own their own home to take advantage and apply."
