Officers executing a warrant in Clydebank have 'broke down the door' to a home before allegedly finding £9000 worth of drugs.

Police Scotland say they undertook the action at 9.30am on Thursday, June 11, at a property on Crown Avenue.

Once inside the home, officers allegedly recovered drugs worth an estimated value of £9k and a weapon.

The type of weapon has not been disclosed.

A 30-year-old man has since been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident.

A report has also been sent to the Procurator Fiscal service.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.30am on Thursday, 11 June, 2026, officers attended a property on Crown Avenue.

"A quantity of drugs and a weapon was found within.

"A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and reported to the Procurator Fiscal."
