I hope this finds you all well.

It is an absolute privilege to have been re-elected as your MSP for the Clydebank and Milngavie constituency.

It is such an honour to represent the constituency I was born, raised, and still live in.

I will continue to work hard for the people of Clydebank and to be your voice in the Scottish Parliament.

I am always here to listen and help, so please do get in touch if you need my assistance.

Since returning as your MSP, I have been inundated with enquiries from constituents, which I am working hard to resolve.

For example, I know many are concerned about e-bikes and antisocial behaviour.

This is something I have had frequent communication on pre-election and is an issue I will continue to raise with those responsible for tackling this behaviour.

If you have any concerns regarding this, please do get in touch with me.

In the constituency, I am sure many will have heard about Caitlin Andrew’s courageous challenge that she started this month.

In memory of her best friend Tyla, Caitlin will be running from Lands End to John O’Groats over 35 consecutive days to raise money for charity.

Tyla sadly passed away aged only 19 last year as a result of her epilepsy.

I had the pleasure of meeting Caitlin just prior to her challenge to see what I can do to assist.

In recognition of her ambitious endeavour, I submitted a motion to Parliament that wishes her well.

To push yourself like this in a time of grief is truly inspirational and selfless.

If you can, please support Caitlin as she takes on this immense challenge.

As I am writing this, the 2026 FIFA World Cup is about to start.

I will be proudly supporting Steve Clarke and the Scotland squad as they play Scotland’s first men’s World Cup since France in 1998.

I will also be keeping an eye on everyone’s favourite Bankie, John McGinn, who recently returned to the town to film a documentary with our other favourite Bankie, Kevin Bridges.

Please give it a watch on BBC iPlayer if you can, as it helps showcase the community spirit we hold dearly in our town.

I hope we can all savour the moment of playing at a World Cup and, all going well, we will qualify for the knockout rounds for the first time in our history.

Come on Scotland!
