Several roads in a busy area of Clydebank are currently closed following a bus crash earlier today.

Emergency services rushed to Mill Road following reports of a single-vehicle collision involving a bus at around 6am.

Passengers on the service were then checked over by paramedics at the scene.

Police confirmed that Mill Road remains shut and that there are other closures in place from Yoker train station.

These include Millburn Avenue, East Barns Street, and Yoker Mill Road.

This is to allow for the recovery of the bus.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Mill Road in Clydebank is closed following a single vehicle crash, involving a bus, which happened around 6am on Monday, June 8.

"Emergency services attended, and passengers were checked by paramedics at the scene. Closures are in place from the train station, Millburn Avenue, East Barns Street and Yoker Mill Road, to allow for vehicle recovery."
