A CLYDEBANK man has pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by pushing her, a court has heard.

Scott Ramsay appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on April 28 and admitted the charge from a property in Dumbarton Road.

On April 5, he pushed her on the body, causing her to fall and punched her on the body.

It was aggravated by being against a partner or ex.

Sheriff Lorna Anderson noted the 35-year-old, of Irving Quadrant, had a previous domestic abuse conviction. She deferred sentence until May 26 for reports to be prepared.

He must not contact the woman or enter her home while on bail.
