Selina Ross, chief officer at WDCVS, said: "With the number of local people living with a single or often multiple long-term conditions rising each year, we want to support people to come together, and we are delighted so many charities have agreed to come along."

George Murphy, event co-ordinator, said: "This is our third assembly and interest has certainly grown over the last year.

"We are grateful to all the groups giving their time."
