A youth charity is marking 30 years of service by celebrating a series of milestones.

Tullochan, which supports young people across West Dunbartonshire, has launched a pilot online safety programme and secured multi-year funding from The Robertson Trust.

The charity’s new online safety sessions, delivered free to primary schools, have been praised by teachers for improving digital awareness among pupils and encouraging important conversations.

Made possible by support from Inspiring Scotland, the sessions equip children with practical strategies for staying safe online, covering topics such as gaming, social media, and cyberbullying.

The programme also includes a session with parents and caregivers.

Tullochan has also secured three years of funding from The Robertson Trust to support its Training Academy, which provides skills development, confidence-building, and pathways into education or employment for young people.

Gillian Morton, funding manager, said: "We are pleased to continue our support for Tullochan's Training Academy, which has a strong record of delivering support for young people in West Dunbartonshire.

"The Training Academy will support young people to move towards positive steps in education and work by offering a wide range of activities that aim to build confidence and new skills.

"We look forward to learning from Tullochan as their work progresses."

To mark the charity's 30th anniversary, Tullochan staff are now planning to take part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk.

The team effort aims to raise vital funds and highlight the charity’s ongoing dedication to giving young people brighter futures
