Two community organisations have secured a share of national funding to boost volunteering opportunities.
Clydesider Creative and the Isaro Community Initiative will receive a portion of £38,553 allocated to groups in West Dunbartonshire from a Scottish Government fund.
The investment is part of a £2.2 million scheme to support small and medium-sized charities in recruiting more volunteers between 2025 and 2027.
This fund prioritises organisations that help individuals facing barriers to volunteering and those focused on tackling child poverty.

Marie McNair, MSP for Clydebank and Milngavie, welcomed the funding.
She said: “Volunteers play a vital role in our communities, giving up their time to help others, asking for nothing in return.
“I want to thank all the volunteers in West Dunbartonshire for their selflessness.
“The SNP cares about supporting volunteers and I'm delighted that Clydesider and Isaro are set to benefit from their share of this £2.2 million national fund.
“I would also encourage anyone considering volunteering to take that step even if you only have a spare few hours each month. Volunteering offers the chance to learn new skills, meet new people and help others.
“Vote SNP on the 7th of May to continue supporting Scotland's voluntary sector.”
