A young man has been reported following an alleged incident at a Clydebank pub which left another man with 'minor injuries'.

Officers were called to The Shipyard on Chalmers Street on Saturday, December 6.

The cops arrived on scene following reports an assault had taken place.

A 22-year-old has since been reported to the Procurator Fiscal service for the alleged assault of another man.

Police say the alleged victim of the incident sustained minor injuries.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 22 year old male has been reported to the procurator fiscals office for assaulting another male at The Shipyard public house on Chalmers Street, Clydebank on Saturday 6th December.

"The victim of the assault sustained minor injuries."
