'Such a loss': Clydebank's Cafe Roma announces closure

A Clydebank café has announced it will be closing it's doors to customers.

Bosses at Café Roma on Britannia Way say they are 'sorry' to announce the news that they have come to the end of their lease of their unit in the Clyde Shopping Centre.

The eatery which was posted to Facebook: "I’m sorry to announce that we have come to our end of lease. Unfortunately we are closing down and our last day serving will be November 9.

"I thank everyone in supporting our business through the years thank you so much for your custom.

"Sorry for the inconvenience."

Gutted regulars have shared their upset at the news, with calls to 'save Cafe Roma.'

One commented: "That’s such a loss to the Clydebank area. Hopefully you’ll find another lease somewhere and open up again.

"I will miss the great quality food and value for money you guys have brought and served to us over the years."

Another said: "Omg you're kidding. We eat in there regularly, great food and great staff. This is such a shock. Very sad to hear."

A third added: "No way, we need to save Cafe Roma."

Cafe Roma's last day of trading will be Sunday, November 9.
