Results from a consultation over a review of polling districts and places across West Dunbartonshire are expected to be presented to councillors next week.
A review of polling stations in Dumbarton, Kilpatrick, Clydebank Central and Clydebank Waterfront have now been carried out and need approval from councillors to become part of the final polling scheme.
The review focussed on those areas where the polling places were no longer available to the council or where issues had been raised at previous elections.
It comes after a small change was made to the boundary between the Clydebank and Milngavie Scottish Parliamentary constituency as well as the Dumbarton constituency.

The local authority has agreed that the Bowling Community Hall be sold or leased and is currently on the market. If leased, there will be a clause requiring the hall to be used as a polling place.
If the hall is sold, then alternatives will need to be considered.
The West Kirk Church Hall has been closed by the Church of Scotland but remains available as a polling place until the building is sold or leased to a third party.
The Abbotsford Hotel, which was not used during the Covid pandemic due to space limitations and lighting concerns, has now been approved by the use of additional lighting.
Councillors were consulted during the review.

Commenting on the Dumbarton proposals, Councillor Chris Pollock said: “For the West Kirk Church Hall, I can’t really think of any suitable alternatives in that area. The Concord seems like a suitable option.
“If Bowling Hall was unable to be used, I would say we would need a portacabin with appropriate access. I feel it is unreasonable to ask the whole village to turn out to Milton which is across a busy road and poor public transport links.
“Is there any space within Bowling Harbour that could be used? Could the Abbotsford be approached and asked to reduce their price as £700 is still better than nothing for them as an unused room.”
A list of proposed venues can be found on the council’s website.
