The search is on for local heroes in West Dunbartonshire.
Nominations have opened for the Provost’s Civic Awards, which celebrate individuals and groups making a positive impact across the area.
These awards aim to highlight those who regularly go the extra mile for their communities.
The provost will present two awards at a ceremony in January, which will take place at the council’s Church Street offices.

Residents are invited to nominate any person or group they think is deserving of the title of either Community Champion or Citizen of the Year.
The Community Champion award will recognise an individual or group who has inspired others through action and demonstrated true community spirit.
Meanwhile, the Citizen of the Year award will be given to a person or group who has made a substantial contribution to West Dunbartonshire, shown pride in the area, and demonstrated a commitment to creating lasting change and improving lives.
Nominees will be invited to an afternoon tea with the provost in January, and overall winners will have their names added to the boards at Clydebank Town Hall.
Winners will also be invited to join the provost at the King’s annual garden party at Holyrood.

Provost Karen Murray Conaghan said: "This will be my first Civic Awards since taking on the role of provost and I’m really excited to have the opportunity to recognise some of the many people who are doing great things in West Dunbartonshire.
"I know of lots of people deserving of praise for the work they do, frequently going above and beyond, and I’m sure there are many more whose efforts fly under the radar.
"That’s why I am relying on you, our local community, to help me shine a light on those people who most deserve recognition, by nominating them for an award."
