Two men due in court after Knightswood street incident

As part of an ongoing investigation, police were carrying out enquiries in the Knightswood area when an alleged incident occurred.

Officers were called to Wilverton Road yesterday afternoon, where they say a disturbance broke out.

Two men, aged 20 and 21, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

The exact circumstances surrounding the "disturbance" remain unclear.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal, and both men are expected to appear in court at a later date.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "As part of enquiries, officers attended at Wilverton Road, Glasgow, around 2pm on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

"A disturbance ensued, and two men, aged 21 and 20, were arrested and charged.

"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
